Rodrigo Herrera

Rodrigo Herrera is the CTO and Co-Founder of AinnovaTech, a professor, researcher, and coordinator of the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at Cenfotec University. Recognized as Doctor Honoris Causa by the Doctoral Council of Barcelona, Rodrigo is a Computer Science Engineer with a Master’s in Big Data & Business Intelligence, holding certifications in areas such as Linux server administration, Broadcom networks, and data science. With over a decade of experience, he has led machine learning and deep learning projects in health and business, specializing in early disease detection. Rodrigo is also the lead organizer of Saturdays.AI in Costa Rica, where he drives accessible, community-based AI education. As an educator and academic leader, he has held roles as director, professor, and research coordinator in both national and international universities. Known for his passion for technology, physics, and science, Rodrigo is a prominent advocate for the ethical and social impact of AI in Latin America.
